Description:
Develop assembly and manufacturing strategies for aircraft components.

Write and revise assembly instruction guides or manufacturing instruction guides for the manufacturing or assembly of aircraft components and test rigs.

Harmonize the implementation of changes, provide the required technical support and participate in problem solving.

Support the daily activities of methods for manufacturing and operations.

Work in close collaboration with Engineering, Parts Logistics, BAEX Shop, Quality and our external Suppliers.

Keep abreast of best ways to enhance assembly and manufacturing strategies and participate in research and development projects.

Participate in the continuous improvement of our processes, assembly and manufacturing strategies as well as the drafting of our work instructions.

College or university diploma in Mechanical, Avionics, Electrical, Industrial, Electromechanics Engineering, Aerospace Manufacturing or in a relevant area.

At least five (5) years of manufacturing experience in a similar position.

Able to read technical drawings and have a good visualization in 3D with good analytical skills.

Have good logical and mechanical skills.

Knowledge in the manufacturing processes of the aerospace industry.

Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).

Able to work with computer-based software such as Catia, AutoCad, Enovia, etc.

Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills in French and English.

Excellent team player, dynamic and well organized.

Strong Asset: Registered in the Canadian Controlled Goods Directive (CGD) Program.
