CNC Operator- Job ID 204843

Description:
We have an Excellent Contract to Hire position for a CNC Operator to join a leading Company in Yorba Linda, CA.

Pay Range: $24.50 - $25.97

Performs day-to-day machine operations in a machine center production environment to produce titanium parts.

Responsibilities:
Direct & indirect responsibility over people
Regularly partners with CNC Operators I-III
Interfaces with quality assurance and quality control to maintain the quality of work produced
Perform standard shop computations relating to dimensions of work
Regular utilization of a wide variety of precision measuring instruments

Basic Hiring Criteria:
High school diploma or equivalent
Minimum one (1) year of experience working with CNC Swiss-type machines
Minimum one (1) year of experience working with screw machines

Desired Qualifications:
Ability to lift 25 pounds
20/20 vision with or without aid
Strong mechanical aptitude
Basic knowledge of safety and hazardous material regulations
Knowledge retention of FDA Quality System requirements ('Good Manufacturing Practices') and ISO 9001 requirements after training
Basic CNC programming knowledge, enough to upload/download programs to machines
Basic proficiency both in oral communications and reading comprehension
Ability to work directly from blueprints and drawings
Technical skills to produce a finished screw machine part after the machine is set up
Independently load a bar stock and change tools such as center drill without assistance
Capable of performing tool offsets in order to make a part according to the blueprint
Basic data entry skills and familiarity with PC
SAP skills are a plus
Comfortable with the use of screw machine production electronic documentation system
Ability to operate one or more types of machine
Ability to perform simple set-ups on one or more types of machines
