Checker (Drafter/Design)

Description:
TriMech is hiring a design checker to support ongoing DoD programs and projects. The successful candidate will serve as a Design Checker who will handle all aspects of checking mechanical designs of 2D drawings and 3D models for vehicle system design specific duties may encompass checking pictures for compliance with industry standards, parts dimensioning and tolerances, materials specification, and finish specification of components.


Job Responsibilities:

Design and drafting of mechanical aspects of vehicle-based systems.
Experience with Electrical Systems from a checking perspective is a plus
Design of automotive components and subsystems
Utilize NX CAD software to
Managing technical data via PDM systems
Work with engineering personnel to develop necessary designs, create drawing packages and provide Checking duties when necessary.

Required Skills
5-8 years of NX CAD design and drafting experience.
Proficient with ASME Drafting, GD&T Standards and model-based engineering (MBD)
5 Plus years of Design Checking experience of other Designers Designs and Drawings
Support design documentation via creation of Technical Data Packages
3D Drawing experience with NX MBD.
Position Requirements:
The position requires applicants to be US Citizens and will need to complete a standard background and drug screen.
